At IFA 2022, ASUS today announced the first Expert Series workstation, the ExpertBook B6 Flip (B6602F). To meet the demands of creative professionals, ASUS put the ExpertBook B6 Flip through a comprehensive collection of in-house tests and certifications to ensure it works well with the leading creative software. This device is also certified to work with professional applications from 3ds Max, MicroStation, and Vectorworks.
The main highlight of the ExpertBook B6 Flip is its optional miniLED touchscreen that can deliver maximum brightness of 1,000 nits. Also, you can configure this mobile workstation with up to 128GB DDR5-4800 MHz RAM, 4 TB of ultra-fast M.2 storage, Intel Core i9-12950HX processor and NVIDIA RTX A2000 8 GB graphics.
Thanks to its advanced thermal design, this laptop can run comfortably at a blistering 135 watts total TDP (55 W CPU and 80 W GPU) in Performance mode — with no throttling. Also, with NVIDIA Max-P Dynamic Boost’s support, power users can push performance even further. The cooling system uses dual 98- blade fans that have power-efficient 3D-curved design to increase airflow by 17%. Three heat pipes and seven intelligent sensors ensure optimum cooling performance.
ASUS ExpertBook B6 comes with two ultra-versatile Thunderbolt 4 ports with DisplayPort 1.4, along with two USB 3.2 Type-A ports and a pro-grade 2.5 Gbps Ethernet port. Finally, it includes support for self-encrypting TCG Opal SSD drives to prevent unauthorized data access to the data, plus a discrete TPM 2.0 chip to securely store authentication information.
