Yesterday, Microsoft reported its financial results for the quarter ended June 30, 2023. Microsoft reported revenue of $56.2 billion and net income of $20.1 billion. During the earnings call, Microsoft shared some interesting numbers around its products and services. You can find the highlights below:

  • The Microsoft Cloud surpassed $110 billion in annual revenue, up 27% in constant currency, with Azure all-up accounting for more than 50% of the total for the first time.
  • Azure Arc now has 18,000 customers, up 150% year-over-year.
  • Azure OpenAI Service now has more than 11,000 customers.
  • Over 8,000 customers have signed up to trial Microsoft Fabric service and are actively using it. And over 50% are using four or more workloads.
  • Nearly 90% of GitHub Copilot sign-ups are self-service, indicating strong organic interest and pull through.
  • More than 27,000 organizations – up 2X quarter-over-quarter – have chosen GitHub Copilot for Business.
  • More than 63,000 organizations have used AI-powered capabilities in Power Platform, up 75% quarter-over-quarter.
  • Power Automate now has 10 million monthly active users, up 55% year-over-year.
  • Dynamics surpassed $5 billion in revenue over the past fiscal year, with customer experience, service, and finance & supply chain businesses all surpassing $1 billion in annual sales.
  • More than 1,900 apps now available in Teams app store.
  • In the first 5 months, Teams Premium has already surpassed 600,000 seats.
  • Teams Phone is the market leader in cloud calling, with more than 17 million PSTN users, up 45% year-over-year.
  • Teams Rooms is used by more than 70% of the Fortune 500. And revenue more than doubled year-over-year this quarter.
