Microsoft replaces Xbox Live Gold with the new Game Pass Core

Xbox Game Pass Core

Starting September 14, Microsoft is replacing Xbox Live Gold with the new Game Pass Core subscription. In addition to the access to Xbox multiplayer network, Game Pass Core will offer a select collection of over 25 games, and exclusive member deals, for $9.99 USD per month or $59.99 USD per year.

With the introduction of Game Pass Core, Microsoft is discontinuing Games with Gold program as well. However, gamers can continue to access any Xbox One games they previously redeemed through Games with Gold if they remain a Game Pass Core or Game Pass Ultimate member. Also, regardless of subscription status, any Xbox 360 titles redeemed via Games with Gold in the past will be available in the library as usual.

From September 14, Xbox Live Gold members will automatically become Game Pass Core members.

Following titles will be available on launch day of Game Pass Core:

  • Among Us
  • Descenders
  • Dishonored 2
  • Doom Eternal
  • Fable Anniversary
  • Fallout 4
  • Fallout 76
  • Forza Horizon 4
