Windows 11 File Explorer Gallery View

Microsoft today announced the release of Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 22621.2048 and Build 22631.2048 (KB5028247) to the Beta Channel.

This latest Insider build brings the new Gallery feature in File Explorer that will allow users to easily access their photo collection. The photos content is same as the All Photos view available in the native Photos app. This new Gallery view also works from the file picking dialog. Users can also use the “Add Phone Photos” button in the Command bar to add photos from their smartphone to the Gallery in File Explorer.

In this build, users will notice the ability to end task when right-clicking an app on the taskbar. But this feature will not work as expected in this build, Microsoft will fix it in the upcoming Insider builds.

Finally, Microsoft has added the ability to tear out and merge tabs in File Explorer.

This build also comes with several bug fixes, you can find the details in the source link below.
