WhatsApp today announced a much-awaited feature that will offer even more privacy and control. There is a new feature in WhatsApp that can automatically silence incoming calls from unknown contacts. Recently, WhatsApp users in India were receiving lots of spam calls and this feature will make the spam calls less annoying.
Users can enable this new option by following the below steps:
- Go to WhatsApp Settings->Privacy page.
- Tap Calls option and select Silence unknown callers.
WhatsApp also recently added a new privacy checkup feature that will take you through a wizard to make you aware of different privacy controls.
