Windows Subsystem for Android Amazon App Store

Yesterday, Microsoft released a new update for Windows Subsystem for Android on Windows 11 to all Windows Insider channels. This new update v2305.40000.4.0 brings support for file sharing, file transfer, settings updates, and graphics fixes.

With this update, you can now transfer files using drop and drop and copy and paste.

Also, Windows Subsystem for Android can now share Windows user folders, like Documents and Pictures. Folder sharing is enabled by default for preview users and can be toggled on and off in Windows Subsystem for Android Settings. When folder sharing is enabled, your Windows user profile folder (e.g., “C:\Users\John Doe”) is shared as “/sdcard/Windows” in the Subsystem.
