Microsoft today announced a new app called Dev Home for developers using Windows 11 PCs. The new Dev Home app comes with several developer focused features such as WinGet configuration for easier & faster setup, Dev Drive for enhanced filesystem performance and a new customizable dashboard to track all your workflows and tasks in one place.
In Dev Home, developers can also connect to GitHub and setup their machine to code for their repos with the tools and packages they need. Using Dev Home, developers can also configure their coding environments in the cloud using Microsoft Dev Box and GitHub
Codespaces.

Developers using Windows 11 can now download the preview of the Dev Home app in the Microsoft Store today.
