windows subsystem for android

Over the last weekend, Microsoft released an update for Windows Subsystem for Android on Windows 11 to the Windows Subsystem for Android Preview Program. This v2304.40000.3.0 update adds support for package verification, improved reliability, improved performance and AppLink support. Find the details below.

With package verification for apps on WSA, Android apps installed on Windows 11 are scanned using anti-virus software installed on Windows prior to app installation.

With this update, users will have the ability for users to configure how much memory to assign to Android.

Finally, Android apps will be launched as expected when a user opens the supported app link from any app (Android AppLink support).
