In February, Microsoft revealed an all new, AI-powered Bing search engine. The new AI-powered Bing delivers better search, more complete answers, a new chat experience and the ability to generate content. The new Bing was made invite-only and people had option to join the waitlist. After testing the new Bing experience for the past few months with millions of users, Microsoft is now opening up to everyone. The new AI-powered Bing experience is now available without any invite.
Ever since the new Bing preview was launched, Microsoft has been delivering steady stream of updates to improve the overall experience. Microsoft also integrated DALL∙E-powered Bing Image Creator in the new Bing chat experience. With this integration, you can generate both written and visual content in one place, from within Bing chat.
Bing chat now provides better answers when users ask questions about travel or recipes. The update has improved the accuracy of citations for both topics. For recipes, the enhanced grounding data is sourced from recipe content providers, ensuring that citations direct users to the recipe site instead of Bing.com. Bing chat also includes image and video search, with answer cards appearing below chat answers. Users can click “See more” to explore further.
