Microsoft Azure OpenAI ChatGPT

Microsoft’s Azure OpenAI Service is already being used by over 1,000 customers for running the most advanced AI models—including Dall-E 2, GPT-3.5, Codex, and others. Today, Microsoft announced that ChatGPT is now available in preview in Azure OpenAI Service. It is priced at $0.002/1k tokens and billing for all ChatGPT usage begins March 13th.

With this availability, developers can easily integrate custom AI-powered experiences into their own applications. For example, they can create ChatGPT-based bots to handle unexpected questions, allow customer support to handle conversations for faster support resolutions, and more. Microsoft also revealed that The Office Depot Corporation, Singapore’s Smart Nation Digital Government Office, and Icertis will be using ChatGPT on Azure OpenAI Service to improve their applications.

Azure OpenAI Studio also allows customers to customize ChatGPT and configure response behavior that aligns with their organizations.

Right now, access to Azure OpenAI Service is granted only by application. You can apply for access to Azure OpenAI by completing the form at https://aka.ms/oai/access.
