Microsoft Skype bing integration

Microsoft today announced the integration of the new AI-powered Bing in Skype apps. The new Bing in Skype can provide helpful, real-time answers to your questions during chat.

In the announcement blog, Microsoft revealed that Skype has over 36 million daily active users. These users can invite Bing to their Skype chat and ask any question. Once you receive an answer, if you need more information or clarification, you can ask follow-up questions to refine the answers and information you receive.

Here are some of the ways you can use Bing inside Skype chat:

  • Bing can help you plan your next trip or weekend getaway, just ask Bing for suggestions on where to go, what to do, and what to see based on your preferences, budget, and location.
  • Bing can also provide you with useful information such as weather forecasts, flights, and hotels.
  • Bing can bring fun and levity to the Skype chat with jokes, poems, stories, games, quizzes, and more. Discuss weather, sports, news, trivia, and more with Bing and your friends or family.
  •  You can ask Bing for creative suggestions and recommendations, and it will provide you with a range of options and ideas to help you get started.

If you already have access to the new Bing preview experience, these features will be available to you later today on the latest version of Skype when signed using the same Microsoft Account. Microsoft has plans to bring similar feature to Teams in the future.
