Instagram not interested

Social media sites like Instagram can be distracting at times. Based on the feedback from its users, Meta today introduced new ‘Quiet mode’ feature on Instagram that will help people to focus on their work. When enabled, you won’t receive any notifications, your profile’s activity status will change to ‘In quiet mode’ and we’ll automatically send an auto-reply when someone DMs you.

Meta has plans to prompt teens to enable quiet mode when they spend a specific amount of time on Instagram late at night. Also, you can customize your ‘Quiet mode’ hours to fit your schedule. When you disable quiet mode, Instagram will show you a quick summary of your missed notifications.

‘Quiet mode’ feature will be available to everyone in the US, United Kingdom, Ireland, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand starting today.

You can now choose to hide multiple pieces of content in Explore that you aren’t interested in at one time. If you select “Not interested” on a post, Instagram will avoid this kind of content in the future in your feed. Also, you can now add a word or list of words, emojis or hashtags that you want to avoid in the recommendations.
