Microsoft OpenAI

Yesterday, Microsoft announced the general availability of Azure OpenAI Service. With this availability, customers around the world can take advantage of the most advanced AI models in the world, including GPT-3.5, Codex, and DALL•E 2. Also, ChatGPT, a fine-tuned version of GPT-3.5 is also coming soon to Azure OpenAI service.

Along with the power of large-scale generative AI models, Azure OpenAI Service customers will have access to Azure cloud and computing infrastructure with security, reliability, compliance, data privacy, and built-in Responsible AI capabilities.

Microsoft is already using Azure OpenAPI Service in its own products including GitHub Copilot, Power BI and Microsoft Designer.

As part of Limited Access Framework, developers are required to apply for access, describing their intended use case or application before they are given access to the service.
