Goodnotes for Windows beta download

GoodNotes is one of the most popular note taking app available on iOS and Mac platforms. In addition to basic note taking features, it has advanced features like the ability to search your handwritten notes, typed text and PDF text, ability to create custom outlines for easier navigation and more.

Last October, GoodNotes announced that it will bring its note taking app to Windows in 2023. You can now get early access to the beta and help shape the future of GoodNotes for Windows. To sign up for the beta, visit this link and fill the form. You will receive the invite to download the app soon. Also, during the beta phase, GoodNotes for Windows will be available for free.

GoodNotes for Windows Beta includes basic note-taking features:

  • Writing, highlighting, and erasing notes
  • Moving and resizing your writing with the Lasso tool
  • A large library of paper templates to get you started, including planners, to-dos, squared paper, dotted paper, and more

Advanced features such as shape recognition, handwriting recognition, and the Elements tool will be available in the future releases. Also, GoodNotes for Windows is a separate note-taking app. For now, it doesn’t currently sync with GoodNotes 5 for iOS and Mac.

Unfortunately, joining the waitlist doesn’t immediately grant you access to the beta app. You will need to keep waiting until a spot opens up and you receive an invitation email.

Once the app is available for download, you can follow the tutorial here to understand how GoodNotes works.
