ASUS has announced the 2023 version of its 16-inch Zenbook Pro 16X OLED laptop, featuring a new ASUS Supernova system-on-module (SoM) design and the latest Intel processor. Developed in partnership with leading technology companies, this laptop is the most powerful version ever released.
The ultra-compact ASUS Supernova SoM design enables ultra-powerful performance from the 13th Gen Intel Core i9-13905H processor and the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 Laptop GPU with NVIDIA Studio drivers. It also supports LPDDR5X DRAM, which offers 7500 MHz memory frequency speeds, significantly improving video-editing performance and 3D rendering capacity.
The ASUS Supernova SoM design offers a number of benefits, including a reduction of the motherboard core area by 38%, which increases the overall cooling efficiency of the system. This allows for the use of the top-notch NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 Laptop GPU and enables the device to reach higher total combined TDP values. The design also shortens the distance between the CPU and memory chips, allowing for the use of premium low-power LPDDR5X DRAM. In addition, the laptop uses a liquid metal thermal compound that reduces the CPU temperature by up to 7° C in high-performance mode.
The Zenbook Pro 16X OLED is designed for on-the-go creators, with a 13th Gen Intel Core i9-13905H CPU, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080, and 32 GB of LPDDR5X DRAM. It also features an award-winning innovative design, with a AAS Ultra auto-tilt for enhanced airflow, an ASUS Dial, intelligent RGBW lighting, a haptic touchpad, and a CNC-machined unibody. The laptop boasts stunning visuals, with a 16:10 16” 3.2K 120 Hz OLED HDR display, a 0.2 ms ultrafast NanoEdge OLED touchscreen, and 550 nits peak brightness.
The Zenbook Pro 16X OLED is expected to be available in the first quarter of 2023.
