The Xbox Series X is not leading this generation of the console wars, but Microsoft has been constantly working to increase the competitiveness of its product.
They will be cheered to hear then that in Adobe’s latest 2022 Holiday Shopping Trends, the gaming machine has been identified as one of five “hot products” during Black Friday.
It’s not clear exactly what makes it a “hot product”, but it is certainly not because it has been deeply discounted: the Xbox Series X was only 18% cheaper last week.
The other 4 “hot products” includes children’s show Bluey, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II, drones and Macbooks.
Adobe Analytics report says $9.12 billion was spent on Black Friday, which represents an increase on both 2020 and 2021.
