Microsoft Photos app

During the Fall Event today, Microsoft announced that Windows 11 Photos app will soon have iCloud photos integration.

With native OneDrive integration, the Microsoft Photos app will allow you to view, organize, and share photos from your OneDrive. With the upcoming update, Windows 11 users can add and access your iCloud Photos directly from within the app as well. The iCloud Photos will appear alongside photos from other sources in the “All Photos” gallery view, as well as on a dedicated page available side navigation pane.

Microsoft today announced that this upcoming update to the Photos app (version 2022.31100.9001.0) is now rolling out to Windows Insiders in the Dev Channel.

After you install the updated Photos app, you should sign into the iCloud for Windows app on your PC and ensure that “Photos” are selected.
