Acer today announced the Acer Swift Edge (SFA16-41), the world’s lightest 16-inch OLED laptop. Thanks to its ultra-slim magnesium-aluminum (Mg-Al alloy) chassis, this laptop only weighs 1.17kg and measures 12.95 mm thickness.
The Acer Swift Edge comes with a 4K OLED (3840×2400) display, with 100% DCI-P3 color gamut support, 500 nits peak brightness, less than 0.2ms response time, and a 92% screen-to body-ratio.
This laptop is powered by AMD Ryzen 6000 Series processors and includes the Microsoft Pluton security processor for improved security. With up to 8 high performance “Zen 3+” cores built on advanced 6 nm process technology, AMD Ryzen 6000 Series processors will deliver great performance and battery life.
The Acer Swift Edge comes with Wi-Fi 6E, HDMI 2.1, two USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C ports with fast charging capabilities, two USB Type-A ports, and an audio jack.
The Acer Swift Edge (SFA16-41) will be available in October in the US starting at 1,499.99; in EMEA starting at EUR 1,499; and in China starting at RMB 7,999.
