It’s the back-to-school season, which means Microsoft will soon be delivering a new Surface range.
As usual, retailers have spilled the beans, and Windows site Winfuture reports that Microsoft is readying the Surface Pro 9 and Surface Laptop 5 for sale later this year.
Interestingly there will be no Surface Pro X this year, with Microsoft rolling the ARM-powered device into the general Pro 9 line. The main differentiator will be the 5G moniker, with the new ARM-powered “Surface Pro X” being the Surface Pro 9 5G, likely running on the Snapdragon 8cx Gen3. The rest of the Surface Pro 9 range will be powered by Intel.
The Surface Pro 9 will have the same screen size and be available in “graphite black” and “platinum”.
The Surface Laptop 5 will also be hitting selves in a 13 and 15-inch version. It is not known yet if the device will be available in both AMD and Intel versions.
