Microsoft today announced the availability of native Microsoft Teams app optimized for the Apple silicon-based Macs. With this new native version, users can enjoy a significant boost in performance, along with efficient use of device resources and optimized Teams experience when using multiple high-resolution monitors during calls or meetings. The GA version of the native Teams app on Mac with Apple silicon is being rolled out to customers in increments over the coming months.

Back in 2020, Microsoft released a new version of Teams that is optimized for Windows on ARM devices. With ARM64 Teams client, you can expect always-connected performance paired with great battery life.
