Microsoft was once of the first defenders of Ukraine, defending the country from a concerted digital attack which preceded and coincided with the invasion of the nation by Russia in February 2022.
In total, Microsoft has provided $239 million in financial and technology assistance to support Ukraine, including support for the government, businesses, nonprofits, and humanitarian assistance for refugees
Today that efforts has been recognized by the office of the President of Ukraine, according to the official twitter account of Mykhailo Fedorov, Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine and Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine.
