Zoom today announced Zoom One, a new product offering that will directly compete with Microsoft Teams.
Zoom is known for its video meetings capabilities. But over the past two years, Zoom has added several communication and collaboration tools including chat, phone, and whiteboard to its video meetings solution. Zoom has now packaged everything into a single solution called Zoom One to better compete with Microsoft Teams. With Zoom One, you can now:
- Start a phone call or video meeting from a chat message
- Collaborate on a whiteboard from your desktop or room, and easily share it with others
- See whether a co-worker is available with presence status
The above capabilities might attract enterprise customers who are looking for a unified communication platform to replace their traditional systems from companies like Cisco. Also, Zoom One’s simple pricing minimizes the need for a bunch of other add-ons.
Zoom One offers secure, reliable solutions for instant messaging, business VoIP phone service, video meetings, and online whiteboarding
