Last year, to the disappointment of many, Twitter brought support for NFTs to their social network, allowing digital collectors to show off their purchases via a special avatar and gallery space.

As usual, Meta is somewhat late to the market, but today Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg has announced that they will be bringing support for the art displays to Facebook and Instagram.

Zuckerberg made the announcement during a conversation with Tom Bilyeu, CEO of Impact Theory.

The feature will first start testing on Instagram and then later roll out to Facebook.

Meta is also working on support for 3D NFTs in both the Metaverse and as augmented reality filters in Instagram via Spark AR.
