WhatsApp has announced three new improvements for its apps across platforms.
First, WhatsApp now supports emoji reactions to chats. On the latest version of WhatsApp, you will be able to react to WhatsApp chats. Meta has plans to add a broader range of expressions in the future.
Until now, WhatsApp only allowed you to send 100mb files to others. With the latest update, you can now send files up to 2GB in size at a time, with end-to-end encryption. WhatsApp recommends using WiFi for larger files. Also, WhatsApp will display a counter while uploading or downloading to let you know the transfer status.
Based on the user feedback, WhatsApp now has the ability to add up to 512 people to a group.
