Microsoft will soon enable all Teams users to cast content from Teams desktop app to Microsoft Teams Rooms.
When a formal meeting is not scheduled, for quick ad-hoc sessions, you can now use Microsoft Teams casting to wirelessly connect to a Teams Room and project content from the Teams desktop apps on Windows and Mac.
Using this feature, Teams users can broadcast their screen and cast content that are stored both locally on their PC or OneDrive. This feature will be generally available to all Microsoft Teams users in March 2022.
