Last year, Microsoft announced Career Coach in Microsoft Teams for Education, powered by LinkedIn. Career Coach offers personalized guidance for higher education students to help them navigate their career journey. Career Coach also allows faculty and staff advisors to understand students’ skills and career goals so they can align curriculum development with student interests.

Career Coach, a Microsoft Teams app powered by LinkedIn, can help each student discover their unique career path, grow real-world skills, and build their network – all in one place.

Microsoft yesterday confirmed that the following new features are coming to Career Coach in Microsoft Teams in March, 2022.

  • Faculty and staff license holders can now view insights for aggregated student activity insights. They can have data on student skills, career interests, and progress on career-related activities in Career Coach.
  • Faculty and staff license holders can now view location-based job market trends from LinkedIn.
