Apple’s MacBook lineup now has three products: MacBook Air, MacBook Pro 13, New MacBook Pro 14-inch/16-inch. While the MacBook Air and MacBook Pro 13 are powered by Apple M1 chip, the new MacBook Pro 14-inch/16-inch is powered by Apple M1 Pro and M1 Max chips.

According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, Apple is planning to introduce an entry-level MacBook Pro model with updated internals. Find the details below.

MacBook Pro 13 (2022):

  • Apple M2 chip with improved performance
  • No ProMotion or MiniLED displays, most likely will feature an LCD display.
  • No TouchBar

Along with the new entry-level MacBook Pro, Apple also has plans to introduce several Apple M2-based devices including the 24-inch iMac, an entry-level Mac mini, and a revamped MacBook Air.

The revamped MacBook Air is also expected to feature MiniLED display without ProMotion (high refresh rate) to deliver great visual experience for the consumers.
